Setup walkthrough
CyberCat Cam · from key to call
Activate & start
- 01Create an account, confirm your email and sign in.
- 02Open Redeem license and enter a CCAT key issued by the administrator. Successful activation shows your plan and balance.
- 03Open Live Studio. Go live reserves credits at one credit per minute; Stop stream refunds unused reserved time.
- 04Press Go live and allow camera and microphone access when the browser asks. For face swap, upload a clear front-facing face photo first; your head turns, expressions and mouth then drive that face. Choose a voice effect and record a short test if your plan includes recording.
Voice.ai · your authorized desktop voices
A free desktop account and developer API access are different. CyberCat Cam does not connect to your Voice.ai account or import its voice library. The documented API voice list is for text-to-speech, not verified live microphone conversion.
- Install the official Voice.ai app on a supported computer, sign in there, and check permission for the voice and intended use. Never share your account password here.
- Choose one of the voices available to your account in Voice.ai and start its Live Mode. No paid or restricted voice is unlocked by CyberCat Cam.
- In CyberCat Voice Studio, select Find devices and allow microphone access. Choose Voice.ai’s output microphone if your browser lists it and enable already-processed audio. CyberCat’s pitch and character effects are bypassed.
- Start Live Studio using the selected input. For a Zoom or supported WhatsApp desktop call, also select the Voice.ai microphone in that call app. Selecting it here alone does not change another app.
- Switch authorized voices in Voice.ai; its microphone carries the new voice. Use headphones and ask a consenting recipient to confirm sound. Uploaded .pth/.onnx files here are stored assets, not neural voice inference.
- On phones or unsupported clients, desktop virtual microphones and cameras are unavailable. CyberCat cannot inject voices or faces into another app’s call.
Face swap · built in, or external processing
CyberCat Cam’s built-in face swap runs in your browser: it tracks your live face mesh and maps your uploaded photo onto it with soft edges and skin-tone matching. It works best with even lighting, a front-facing photo and a recent Chrome or Edge on a computer. It replaces the face, not hair or body shape. For neural, deep-learning swaps, FaceFusion documents webcam output through OBS; review its exact model licenses before installing or using it. Software licensing alone does not grant rights to restricted model weights. Setup, GPU requirements and camera compatibility vary by device.
- Use a separately installed real-time processor only with an authorized face and appropriate model license.
- Follow its official webcam-output instructions. Where required, receive the output in OBS and start OBS Virtual Camera.
- Select the processed camera in CyberCat Live Studio and enable external pass-through, or select it directly in the call app. Do not configure a capture loop between CyberCat and OBS.
- Verify the face actually follows expressions in the recipient’s view. A photo overlay or prerecorded clip is not a genuine live swap. CyberCat adds no watermark; external software and call platforms have their own settings and terms.
